Our Ministries
It began with two brothers from Scotland who sailed to America with their family on the Cameronia in 1930. As their ship pulled into Ellis Island, these two young boys would have no idea the plans God had set for them. Peter and John Bisset grew up, became pastors, married, and moved down the East Coast eventually settling in Maryland. Both felt called by God to share their hope in Christ with a mass audience. Radio, they felt, was the way to go. In 1948, their first broadcast aired. Now over 60 years later, time has changed but the mission has never changed: Peter & John Ministries is committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Peter and John Radio Fellowship was founded in l948 in Baltimore. The Fellowship received its IRS 501(c)3 tax exempt status as a non-profit Christian ministry in l959, and has operated as a not-for-profit ministry continuously since its tax exempt status was granted. The Peter & John Radio Fellowship includes 95.1 SHINE-FM, Positive Talk AM1230, FUEL Internet radio, All My Praise Internet radio and River Valley Ranch.
95.1FM went on the air as a non-profit, full time, radio station in 1964!

River Valley Ranch is a 550 acre summer camp in Millers in northern Carroll County known for its exceptional summer programs and events. Acquired in 1952, River Valley Ranch has been host to tens of thousands of children and adults. During the summer, when your kids attend RVR's summer camp, they'll have fun climbing, swimming, horseback riding, and doing so much more under the supervision of trained and certified staff members. Throughout the year, River Valley Ranch is available as a retreat center and outdoor event venue.

All My Praise, started in the fall of 2008, is an online radio station that features a 24/7 stream of classic hymns and spiritual songs that are sure to build your faith.
